The Symphonic Band of Suffolk salutes our veterans and all the members of the Armed Forces who are on active duty and in the Reserves today with another concert in the tradition of John Philip Sousa on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the Patchogue Theatre. In a Sunday afternoon concert under the baton of the internationally renowned conductor and music educator, Peter Loel Boonshaft, the 60 piece band will feature music especially composed to honor and respect the sacrifices of our warriors. You will also hear the rousing Sousa marches that made his United States Marine Corps Band famous.
